Thought I'd show you a few pics of my little front garden. The edging is all brand new. I got a whopper of a blister from digging the stakes and a bruise/crushed thumb from hammering but I'm quite pleased with the effect.

Last fall I dug up all my gladiola and lily bulbs. I wrapped them in newspaper and stored them in a closet. When I finished the edging, I figured I'd better get those bulbs in asap. I should have done it faster than that though, because they'd sprouted in the dark!! Those things in the pic that look like wobbly white celery... are gladiola... ewwwww!!

The bottom picture is taken from just outside the kitchen window. It's our view when washing dishes. (Sorry this is all squished together.. doesn't seem to want to show my line breaks today)
