Over here, to be married, you have to register intent first. It's also known as 'posting banns'. After registering, you must wait 15 days to be wed.
We looked online to find that you have to make an appointment to register.
Tomorrow we're calling to make that appointment... and hoping that they'll say 'come on in today'.
We're going to make it official.
